Winchester turned back with this 9mm cartridge – designated “M1152,” because Army things always get neat code names. Now it’s finally available to the public!
We reason that the military knows a few things about firearm training. Training with the same ammo they use must be wise indeed, so here it is! This 9mm cartridge features a 115 grain FMJ projectile, with a flat nose profile that promotes reliable feeding and great accuracy. This cartridge’s pressure is a little higher than your typical 9mm load, giving it a 1,320 fps muzzle velocity. That’s going to give you a measurably flatter trajectory, but do ensure your pistol is in good condition to handle the boosted pressure.
The military wouldn’t tolerate subpar ammo. That’s why Winchester gave this round a military-grade primer, designed so you could submerge it in water for a whole day without impacting its performance. Reloadable brass is a must for such a round, so keep whatever your firearm ejects while running this ammo!
