This round’s frangible bullet is made of compressed tin and copper powder. It’s rigid enough to withstand the stress of feeding and ignition without cracking, but it completely disintegrates the instant it strikes any surface harder than itself. In contrast to a traditional FMJ, which is made of solid metals, the frangible bullet is virtually incapable of jeopardizing the shooter with splash-back or a ricochet.
Indoor ranges often have poor ventilation, which can force the shooter to steep in a miasma of toxic lead vapor. But this bullet’s primer is 100% lead-free, as is its bullet. That’s why firing this ammo is going to virtually eliminate your exposure to carcinogenic gasses.
This brass-cased and reloadable round’s bullet is lightweight without any dense lead. As an overpressure cartridge, it’s able to propel that 175 grain bullet to a very fast 1,000 fps muzzle velocity. Enjoy flatter trajectories while you avoid splash-back and lead inhalation!
